8:30am: A groggy Little Bitch (my ego)  wakes up with my body and starts obsessing about yesterday’s problems.

8:45am: Once she has her fill of problems, LB lashes into me with her guilt: “Why did I sleep so late?!” “Why is my room so messy?!” (Her voice often comes in second person as well: “Why did you sleep so late?”)

9:30am: Still in bed catching up on emails, texts, ACIM lessons, writing, etc. LB reminds me of the late hour and how lazy I am! “Most people in Hawaii are up by 6am!”

10am: I indulge LB and check “Fakebook” to see whom I can compare my self to today to make me feel even worse!

10:20am: LB catches my reflection in the bathroom mirror and tells me I’ve gained weight—and not in a good way.

12noon: Finally finish big leisurely breakfast, still in pjs. LB is still whispering about what a lazy slob I am. She, along with her other ego disguises/voices, is trying to spread “misinformation” inside my head—this is actually considered normal thinking!

My ego tends toward the inferior side. If your ego tends to feel more superior, your morning ego self talk may be more like, “I’m so great. Look at me! Let’s see how I can prove how great I am/how much better than other people I am today!” Unfortunately, that sounds like a lot of politicians and business leaders! 😕

Don’t let your ego spread misinformation in your mind! Don’t let your ego gaslight, you! Like any psychopath, the ego tries to control with fear and manipulation!

The ego’s flattery is also a form of manipulation, fyi. Anything that steers you away from the Truth of your Being and toward identification with form is egoic manipulation.

Awareness is the key! 💡🔑

By the way, where does your “self”, the “me” go when you’re in dreamless sleep? Have you ever thought about that? 🤔
