(This is the channeled third chapter of a book manuscript.)

Loving one another is very easy. But it’s something we have to relearn. We can’t join together if we’re divided inside. This is common sense. However, it’s something that our minds have conveniently forgotten. They’ve conveniently forgotten this because they want us to stay trapped in their vortex.

The way to get out of the vortex is to first be aware that you’re in a vortex, that you’re in that thought tornado that’s pulling you into it and trying to keep you from getting out. When we understand that we need to move forward and not backward, we can see that we have to get out of the vortex. We have to get out of the mind vortex. When two vortices meet, they repel each other. They don’t come together in unity and harmony. They repel each other like two force fields meeting. You can’t feel this because you’ve been blinded by your mind’s desire to keep you separate from the whole. We’re trapped in this perception of separation. It can’t continue like this. In order for us to come together in peace and harmony and Love, we have to let go of this perception. We have to learn how to truly see.

When we do this, we can’t underestimate our own inner peace. The inner peace is what we should be seeking. It’s what we should be resting in. When you seek it, you’lll find that you already have it. It’s just that the mind vortex has trapped you into believing that the peace isn’t there. But the peace is here. It’s already here. We are just finding our way back to it. And this is actually very simple. We can’t do it without a clear intention, however. We have to have a clear intention to shift our perception, to shift our way of being, to shift our mental emotional patterns and let go of the things we don’t need.

As we’ve already discussed, there are many things we don’t need and these include our thoughts and emotions that try to lead us toward separateness. They include all of our beliefs that cause division inside of us. When they cause division inside of us, they also cause division in the world.

When we’re not seeking pleasure, we can find the stillness within, the peace within, and that’s the first step in learning to love one another. You can’t love others from a place of division. You can’t love others from a place of anger. You can’t love others from a place of separation. Your mind will try to tell you otherwise. Your mind will try to tell you that all of these things are here to protect you—all of your mind’s thoughts and emotions and belief patterns are here to protect you. But in truth, they’re here to separate you from others and keep you from loving others. They’re here to keep you from finding the true Love within.

The true Love/peace within is the place we need to be rooted in order to bring it into this world. We have to find it again in order to bring this world back into peace and Love and harmony. And this is not just superficial peace and love and harmony. This is not just some well-intentioned hippies living together on a commune with the same old turbulent emotions underneath the surface, with the same jealousies and resentments and divisiveness under the surface.

As we have said, you can’t fake Love. You can’t fake Truth. You have to truly embody it. You can’t pretend to be all “love and light” and then turn around and tell people that you’re more special than they are or even just believe that you’re more special than they are. This is a common trap of the spiritual mind or the religious mind or any mind for that matter. You think that your beliefs are more valid than someone else’s. Or you feel that your skills or attributes or accomplishments are more special than someone else’s.

This is called ego. We won’t be using this word much in this book, as we said, because it triggers a lot of people. It makes them fearful that they’ll have to give up their sense of self, that they’ll have to give up their sense of specialness. And of course, this is exactly what they need to do. In order to come back to unity and harmony and true love for humanity, we have to give up our sense of specialness and all pretense of knowing more than anybody else.

When you think you know more or better than other people then you prevent yourself from truly connecting with them. You build an invisible wall between you and them. Some people do have more knowledge than others. This doesn’t mean that they’re better than other people. It means that they may be more knowledgeable about the superficial world. They may be better at math or science, or they may know more about different religions than other people, but knowledge does not bring wisdom. Wisdom comes from within. Wisdom comes from being connected to the love within. It comes from being connected to your being, the light within, your source. Again, there are many terms that you could use for the same thing here. None of the terms conveys the reality of what we’re talking about. The experience of life, of Love, is not something that can be described in words.

We’re not going to be able to go beyond our perceptions and our prejudices without really opening to this true experience of life/Love/peace/consciousness. When we open ourselves to this dimension of life, we find that things get a lot easier. We don’t struggle. We don’t inflict pain upon ourselves or others. We find that we’re always in the right place at the right time doing what we’re supposed to be doing. We no longer fight with reality. We no longer run from the Truth. We live in harmony with the outer world because we have connected to the Truth of the inner world, which is the only Truth.

When we’re connected to Truth, then we’re not attached to the things of this world. We see them like a dream. We see our experiences as experiences in a dream. Things can’t get better unless we understand this, unless we understand that our life is but a dream. This surface world is but a dream. We think that it’s solid and real but when we close our eyes and look inside and go deep within, beyond the thought and emotions into the stillness of life, we find that nothing here is actually solid. The things that our senses perceive are just that, they’re just images, just perceptions.

When you hear a sound outside and you focus on the sound, you hear an echo of something. Just as when you look at something, you’re looking at an image. It’s an image reflected from your mind. The sounds are also reflections of your mind. All of the sensory perceptions can be unpacked in this way. When you look at them closely, you see that they’re just reflections. In order to see the Truth, you have to close your eyes and go deep within and practice true meditation—finding the source, finding the Love within. You don’t have to go far. Finding this is necessary to truly love one another.

Today we will give you a mantra to open to the Love within. It’s a very simple mantra that you can say anytime you feel inner struggle or resistance or divisive emotions. The mantra is:

I am one with Love.

This is so simple. The mind tries to make spirituality so complicated. It’s actually very simple. We don’t need layers and layers of beliefs. We don’t need rituals or rules. We just need to understand Love. And to understand Love we have to experience Love. We have to connect to Love on a deep level and not let it slip away again. We can’t let our minds cover it up again.

When you see somebody walking down the street, notice how your mind perceives them. Notice how you’re mind labels them. If it’s somebody you know, your mind has made all kinds of judgments about this person already. Even if it’s somebody you don’t know, just based on their appearance your mind will label them and judge them. But when we perceive from Love, everybody looks the same. Everybody shines with the light of Love.

We can’t continue to perceive through the eyes of hate. We can’t continue to perceive through the eyes of separateness. We can’t continue to perceive through the eyes of anger. We have to return to Love. We have to return to the only Truth within. Everything else we have to let go of. This sounds very scary, but it’s actually the most freeing thing that can ever happen to you. It’s the most freeing and the most joyful and peaceful thing that can ever happen to you. Returning to Love is the only thing that can ever fulfill you. It’s the only thing that can bring you home. It’s the only thing that can bring us all home and bring us all back to harmony. It’s the only thing that can bring us back to loving one another.

When our hearts are truly full of this Love, we can never be divided again. We can never fall prey to ugliness again. We can never fall prey to anger and hate and separateness again. We love from a very deep place. That is where true Love comes from. From a very deep place. When we learn to rest there, to be rooted there, to abide there, we have returned to our authentic power. We have returned to the power of our source. We have returned to the power of God. God could also be called the divine intelligence of the universe, or divine Truth, or Love or the peace of God, or true peace.

When we awaken from the dream of this world, we will find that everything here is joyful. Through the eyes of joy, through the eyes of Love, everything is loving, everything is joyful, everything is a gift. We can’t forget this. We can’t forget that this life is a gift. This experience here in this world is a gift. All of our creations here our gifts. All of our experiences here are gifts. We can’t awaken unless we remember this. We can’t truly awaken unless we remember that this world is a blessing. And every person and thing in this world is a blessing to us. This is a fundamental understanding of the shift. Everything here is a blessing. Don’t push anything away. Don’t struggle with things that the world brings to you. This world is just a disguised form of the universal will, the universal Love, God/source/peace/Truth. Everything that comes to us here is a lesson in this. It’s a gift. And we must see it and receive it as such.

Everything in this world is a gift. We must learn to see that and accept that. Our mind wants to see everything as a challenge. Our mind believes that only if things go our way or fulfill our personal will, our personal desires, then we should accept them. Otherwise, we should resist them and push them away, we should react with anger or sadness or negativity. But when we understand that everything is here to help us and to bring us back to Love, then we can easily enter the shift. We can enter into the realm of Love, the dimension of consciousness. We can enter heaven’s gate.

We don’t need to die in order to do that. We don’t need to die in order to rest in peace. We don’t need to die in order to rest in Love. We just need to let go of some things that are keeping us from finding the Love within, the peace within, the God within. We can’t come together in Love unless we find the Love within. This is something we’ll continue to repeat throughout this book. Finding Love and harmony and peace in our outer world and learning to love one another starts with finding the Love within.

Going to a deep place is what is necessary for the shift. The shift is a shift from separateness to Love and wholeness. It’s a shift from fear to peace. It’s a shift from divisiveness to unity. And it’s a shift in perspective. The last part is the most important. Learning to shift our everyday perspective is the most important part of the shift—learning to change the way we see the world. Not through the lens of the willful mind anymore, not through the eyes of the scared separate self, instead we have to learn to see through the eyes of Love, through the eyes of the universe/God/source/Truth.

When you welcome the shift, you accelerate your spiritual process. You accelerate your own return to Love. And as more people welcome the shift, it will accelerate the shift of the entire world. Those who are comfortable where they are and don’t want to change, those who are very entrenched in their belief systems, will have a difficult time. Now is the time for all divisive belief systems to dissolve. It’s the time to willingly give these back to the light, to Love. We’re not going to Talk about this right now, but we’ll explain this later in the book.

Peace is a reflection of your inner state. Love is a reflection of your inner state. Everything is a reflection of your inner state. Many books have been written about this already, but very few people actually understand this on a deep level. To truly understand this means to embody it. It means to embody Truth, to embody peace, to embody Love. You can’t go from separateness to Love unless you’re willing to embody Love, unless you’re willing to live it. You have to live from that place within you and you also have to emanate it into the world. You have to live it every day of your life. That is what true embodiment means. It means with every interaction through your day, whether it’s in your own mind or with other people or other beings, you have to choose Love. You have to see the world through Love. You have to speak from Love. You have to listen from Love. You have to react from Love act and react from Love.

We’re not going to criticize anyone specifically who doesn’t do this. But we all know that the majority of leaders of the world are not living from Love and embodying Love in the world. There are few leaders throughout history who have truly embodied Love. These were mostly religious leaders, the messiahs. They were people like Jesus and the Buddha. There were also countless religious practitioners in monasteries and other such places who really focused their lives on serving God/love. However, these monks and nuns lived at on the periphery of society. They weren’t generally the leaders.

Those who dedicated their lives to living from Love in the past were generally not world leaders. This needs to change now. We all need to live from Love, not just people in seclusion, living in caves or monasteries. And all of the world‘s leaders need to live from Love and embody Love into the world. They need to teach others how to live from Love and embody Love. Those are the kinds of leaders we need now. Those are the kinds of leaders who will lead the shift.

In our minds we see division, separateness. But through Love‘s eyes, we see only unity, only togetherness. When Love truly rules in our hearts, there’s no stopping it. There’s no stopping Love. This is very scary to the separate mind. The mind wants to stay in control. The mind wants to keep us separate. The mind wants to keep us in our own little vortices. Like bumper cars where we can never truly meet, we just collide sometimes in hostility. We aren’t going to be able to recognize Truth inside of us unless we get out of our bumper cars, unless we break out of our mind vortices. Then we can have a true family reunion. We can have a global family reunion. That will be the result of the shift. Everyone will celebrate one another. Everyone will love one another.
